Georgia's quintet is back with a new album!! “From The Vaults” brings all the band's fans -that includes me- a side harser than in their previous “Spiral Shadow”, even if they keep the “pop” vocation in most of their songs but letting also space to compositive experiments aside the sonic ones. Thus, the group's spectrum of influences seems to grow wider in a coherent way; that means we'll find place for things like psychedelic pills and true doom -just listen to ”Bottom Line II”- . Of course you'll get their typical more accesible tracks like “111 Degree Heat Index” or “Wavering”, and this time we'll get a suprise with an interesting Pink Floyd's cover. A good colophon to another recording as good as we could expect and that won't dissapoint any of their fans. This is the way to build a career. |
