What can you expect from the union of two creatures like JK Flesh and Prurient? Overwhelming rythms and merciless noise and distortion. And this is what we find in this great split which i hope confirms the continuity of mr. Broadrick's most recent project. Regarding him, his three tracks are fully worthy and plunges you in the vicious postindustrial atmosphere that he can create. Regarding Prurient, there's nothing you wouldn't expect, expect, maybe, the melodic atmosphere on the closing track, which brings us back that marvelous exception entitled “Bermuda Drain”, and becomes a fantastic colophon to this -in the good sense- monstrosity that will delight the fans of the most extreme electronic and experimental music. |
